Tredz Downtown Race 21 october 2007 Pernarth

The news that everybody has been waiting for The 2nd UK downtown race is just under 2 months away. The event is to be held in the welsh town of Penarth just south of Cardiff. And this time we are going to pull out all the stops so that you can experience the greatest racing On the UK Street’s but without any ticket’s for riding on the pavement! Always wanted to jump over a car and rip up your local park well this year you can do all of that at the Tredz Downtown race. Yes that’s right we will promise that you will not be able to race like that anywhere else in the UK. Also see the top Elite rider’s battle it out on ground that they not normally “Tredz” on The Event has got some great support this year with David Harris at the helm; David is the man behind the “downtown racing in the Uk” and did his 1st race Last year at Bridgenorth which was a huge success. This year not only does he want to follow one from the great event of last year but he wants to push the boundaries even more and bring some great new concepts to street racing. Who can enter!! Anyone with a bike and no it does not need to cost a small county, all you need is a bike with 2 wheels and some brakes!!! And a helmet the whole idea is fun and show the public who would not normally get to see people hurtling down hills side on bikes The downtown team are over whelmed to have such a huge support from companies like Tredz, Dmr, British cycling, Fenwick, The ppc, Balfa, Formula Brakes, The CTC, and Pearce Cycles, Penarth Town, Alpine Tracks. Open practice is from 9am to 11.00am this will be the first time that anyone would have rode the track. Then starting at 11.15am will be the seeding run’s.
