The Fox Antifreeze returns to Coed y Brenin

Looking to banish the winter blues and get 2022 off to a flying start? The Fox Antifreeze returns to Coed y Brenin on the weekend of the 12th/13th of March 2022.

This is a very accessible event that provides a fun and friendly format, choose your route distance challenge on the day, 12, 24 or 36km of our hand-picked route that's a remix of some of Coed y Brenin's finest trail sections. The event also features a staggered start, providing a very covid-friendly format that removes any need for a large group to gather at the start line with the added benefit of reducing rider bunching at pinch points on the course.

How it works

Riders are individually timed with their event beginning when they first cross the start line. You can elect to ride either 1, 2 or 3 laps of the 12km course. You don't even need to decide on a distance beforehand, you simply ride the 1, 2 or 3 laps and your time will automatically be assigned to the appropriate route distance event.

Coed y Brenin boasts possibly the finest all-weather trail network in the UK with excellent tree cover to shelter the trails should the weather be less than perfect. With its large purpose-built visitor centre, cafe and dedicated mountain bike shop there's everything you need for a great weekend of trail riding.
