South West MTB Conference

Are you on the right track in developing and providing facilities for off-road cyclists? Whether you are catering for family cyclists or mountain bike enthusiasts this conference is for you. The Forestry Commission, CTC The National Cyclists Organisation and IMBA-UK have brought together key regional and national speakers for this major event.The conference programme has been designed specifically for interested landowners, project managers, AONB and National Park staff, sports development officers, funders and all those involved in managing or developing off roadcycling in the South West. The demand for off-road cycling has grown dramatically in recent years and this conference will provide a great opportunity to hear about the lessons learnt from those running successful facilities across the country. At the end of 2006 a major study was undertaken by consultants to investigate the potential for developing offroad cycling within woodlands across the region. This conference will be the first opportunity to hear the outcomes from this important study and discuss the ways to develop and make the most of this popular activity in the South West.
