Rocky Mountain distributors Silverfish UK, today announced its continued support of Scott Beaumont for the 2007 season. Scott will be racing for Rocky Mountain UK in the World Cup series, World Championships, European Championships, UK National series, and select grass roots events in both Downhill and 4X in 2007.
Scott is extremely happy to have the continued support of Silverfish UK and Rocky Mountain Bikes for the 2007 season. In Rocky Mountains 25th Anniversary year, Scott piloted his Canadian quiver to a European 4Cross Silver Medal, English Championship Bronze medal and Silver in the National 4Cross series. It is a true testament to the quality of Rocky Mountain Bikes to gain the first ever 4Cross medal finish for Team Great Britain.
Team Rocky Mountain UK will also be using the superior e13 Double World Championship winning chain devices for 2007 as well as continuing to run Raceface Performance Components on all bikes.
Scott said: "Their XC and freeride teams are some of the best in the world, and I hope I can continue to do a great job for them at DH and 4X races the world over for 2007 and into the future".
Pete Drew from Silverfish added: "We have always been big fans of Scott's at Silverfish and keeping Boom Boom on Rocky Mountain bicycles will continue to be a huge boost for the brand in the UK". Rocky Mountain are well served on the world XC circuit with current Olympic Silver medalist Marie Helene Premont, and have a phenomenal presence on the freeride scene with the original freeride pioneer Wade Simmons and Thomas Vanderham. Our continued support of the European4Cross Silver Medalist rounds off the team for 2007.
Rocky Mountain UK will have its team truck at all major DH and 4X events in 2007. Please feel free to stop by the truck to check out Scott's race bikes, get some race tips or to pick up a brochure to see the full range of Rocky Mountain bikes.
