The Roc D’Azur Festival in Fréjus (France) forms the third time in a row the frame work for the European premiere of the eighth episode of the New World Disorder movie production.
Freeride-enthusiasts and all hardcore mountain bikers are able to join this highlight on Friday, October 12th from 9pm on in the Club La Reserve (
www.la-reserve.fr) in St. Rafaël. MAVIC will also send his team rider and Crankworx 2007-winner Ben Boyko from Vancouver, Canada to be the special guest of the evening.
Derek Westerlund, founder of Freeride Entertainment, celebrates the tenth company anniversary with a motion picture that equals nothing ever seen before. As customary for New World Disorder productions, “SMACK DOWN” is completely filmed on 16mm and in high definition, providing incredible tracking and static shots which where taken in Argentina, Israel, British Columbia, Europe and the US.
Pros who joined the tour are Darren Berrecloth, Kyle Strait, Jeff Lenosky, Cedric Gracia, Robbie Bourdon, Wayne Goss, Wade Simmons, Lluis und Andreu Lacondeguy and – this year for the first time – Mavic’s team rider Ben Boyko, to name only a few. Concerning the tricks, a complete magazine of most different calibers is being shot like out of a machine gun. Varying from bunny hops over cars and huge gaps to flipwhips and camel hand plants. The coverage of the biggest contests in 2007 – like Crankworx, the Nissan Qashqai Challenge or the Bearclaw Invitational – will provide a huge pack of insane tricks, too.
The Roc D’Azur Festival in Fréjus itself – being one of the biggest mountain bike festivals in the World with thousands of visitors – is worth the journey for sure. But the vibes at the European premiere party of “SMACK DOWN” presented by MAVIC will be the best of this weekend. Or don’t you like to image partying with Ben Boyko and some other pros?
So let’s party with the good guys, some hot girls and great vibes.
