Tell us a little bit about yourself?

Name: Chris Lamley
Age:17
Location:Callington, Cornwall
Bike: Stanton Slackline Ti. Prototype
Interesting fact about yourself: I'm also a Rock Climber (Which is good training when I actually get out to climb!)

How long have you been riding?
I've been riding for about 5 years now and racing for 4 of those.

How often do you ride?
I ride as much as I can, be it out Downhill, XC or BMX.

What bike are you currently riding and talk us through your set up?
I'm currently riding a Prototype Stanton Slackline Ti which I'm borrowing from the Man himself, Daniel Stanton. It's got a pretty dope set up!
Up front to give some bounce Dan chose a Fox 34 Talas CTD with 160mm of travel and Kashima coated stanchions, Attached to the steerer you'll find an Easton Havoc Stem and Bar combo with Pro components grips. For stopping, it's got Shimano XT brakes with that fancy Icetech bit on the caliper, these brakes are Awesome and having been a massive fan of Saint for years, I'd actually consider getting these rather than new 2013 Saint for my new build! Dan also has a Mavic Crossmax wheelset with a set of Conti Tyres on for maximum grip, at first glance I thought these tyres were gonna be pants but I haven't found anything they don't grip on yet! The gear set up is 1x10 and powered by Shimano with a SLX Shifter and a brand spanking Shimano Saint rear mech with the new Clutch system (Which is rad). The crankset is Shimano XT with an e13 LG1+ chain guide. It's also running a Reverb seatpost for those insane climbs and long flat sections, it's a perfect addition to this bike. The bike weighs in at around 26lbs and rides like a dream, I can't wait to get my hands on one myself!

What types of riding do you normally do?
Mostly Downhill and BMX

What was the last new bit of gear on your bike?
The last time I changed parts on my own bike, it was a full Shimano Saint Groupset which I stripped off my Norco.

What are your local trails?
My local trails are Tavi Woods and Gawton, without a doubt the sickest trails in the Southwest.

What's your favourite part on your bike?
My favourite part of the ti. Slackline has to be the fork, it's so universal and easy to set up and will take just about anything you throw at it

What's the next upgrade you have planned for the bike?
The next upgrade for my own Slackline is to swap to Ti version and then gradually upgrade parts to a higher spec

What other bikes do you own?
In addition to my Steel Slackline, I own a 2010 Norco DH, a 2011 WTP Justice BMX, a really old Raleigh grifter, a Unicycle and I also have a Kona Five-0 frame which is looking for a new home.

Any last words for us?
Keep shredding and never give up.
