Kill the bill downhill: debrief

This past weekend the first (hopefully annual) Dales Cycles KILL the BILL downhill was held at Nevis range, Apart from a few hitches that were mainly down to the crazy weather on Friday and Saturday, the event was a great success. With 260+ racers across 9 categories, there was some super close racing especially from the young guys in juvenile, youth and junior categories, won by Sam Herd, Sam Flockhart and Joe Flanagan respectively. Russ Harland brought home the bacon in masters and the ever present Stevie Boyd in the Vets. The girls turned out too with Angela Coates taking the win. There was some Expert action in the form of MSC’s Ross Anderson taking the top step and the Elite race was sewn up by Ben Cathro in 5 minutes dead. Thanks to all for a great weekend, notably all the Marshalls, Dales Cycles, Giant UK, Specialized UK, Vitamin Water and the SDA for the timing. This was Bordeline-events first race in Scotland and it seemed to go down well, so well done Mike and the guys for a great weekends racing.
