Help Shape Trail Centres Bwlch Nant yr Arian and Coed y Brenin’s Future
28 October 2025 | By billy1979Beicio Cymru is supporting a new survey to help shape the future of two of Wales’ most popular mountain biking destinations — Bwlch Nant yr Arian and Coed y Brenin.
Earlier this year, Natural Resources Wales announced changes to the way its visitor centres operate, including plans to transfer the management of cafés, shops, and certain facilities at several sites. While the trail networks at both Bwlch Nant yr Arian and Coed y Brenin will remain open, these changes create an opportunity to reimagine how the sites are managed in future — with input from the people who use them most.
The survey, open from Wednesday 22 October to Wednesday 12 November, aims to capture the thoughts and needs of local trail users. The findings will help ensure that any future management of these sites reflects what matters most to the people and communities who ride there.
