Once again, with the backdrop of the picturesque Viennese city hall, Europe's elite mountain bike riders will get together to impress spectators with their freeride style.
This internationally recognized dirt jump contest will be held for a second year from the 14th and 15th of April 2007 in conjunction with the ARGUS Bike Festival.
After the great success of the first event, the 2007 Vienna Air King will once again bring freeride flair into Vienna's city center. Over this two-day dirt jump event, some of Europe's finest mountain bike riders will be performing their latest tricks at a couple of 5-6m gaps in front of the city hall.
It's not only the dirt jump contest that will attract visitors and spectators, but since it is part of the ARGUS Bike Festival, bike fans can wander around the exhibition area and check out the newest trends in the bike industry.
The qualifying run on Saturday, April 14th will determine which of the international participants will enter the final round of the Vienna Air King. On Sunday, April 15th, 12 riders will compete in the finals for 5,000€ in prize money and the prestigious title of Vienna Air King.
