ABOUT ENDURO2

An Enduro, raced entirely in teams of two, over three days, with heavy use of ski-lifts to access both natural singletrack and bike-park stages.

We’re all familiar with this versatile mountain bike race format, “Enduro”, which alternates between non-timed climbs and timed downhill stages. It’s a format that appeals because it’s fun and friendly, where everyone can meet up, wait for each other and chat between timed runs.

Enduro2 takes this conviviality and camaraderie to the next level, since even the timed stages are no longer done alone…but together with your favourite race buddy!

Generally considered ‘The Original’ Pairs-Format Enduro Race, Enduro2 first launched in Les Arcs, back in 2015 and has since delivered good times and high fives to thousands of riders at world-class locations, including Davos, Switzerland and even as far as Nelson, New Zealand.

2026 STAGE HIGHLIGHTS

NEW : ALETSCH ARENA - SWITZERLAND 12-14 September

For 2026, Enduro2 is excited to introduce a brand-new stage in the breathtaking Aletsch Arena, home to Europe’s largest glacier. This hidden gem of the Swiss Alps offers some of the most spectacular natural trails we’ve ever seen, stretching from high alpine ridges down nearly 2 km to the valley floor. Riders will encounter a mix of smooth flowing sections, steep technical singletrack, and panoramic alpine vistas that make every descent unforgettable.

With a superb lift network operating from May through October, Aletsch Arena provides one of the longest alpine bike seasons in the region.

For those searching for a bike paradise, it might just be the ultimate ride.

VERBIER - SWITZERLAND 4-6 July

After the spectacular first edition of Enduro2 in Verbier last year, the mountains, trails, and atmosphere left riders absolutely thrilled. From technical singletracks winding through alpine forests to high?altitude descents with panoramic views, every stage challenged and delighted riders alike. The combination of natural terrain, smooth lift access, and the vibrant Verbier community made the experience unforgettable.

It’s no surprise, then, that we’re returning to Verbier for 2026. The venue proved itself as a perfect playground for mountain bikers seeking both adventure and challenge, and we can’t wait to bring back the energy, fun, and epic riding that made last year’s edition so remarkable.

MERIBEL - France TBC August

For its 5th edition, Enduro2 returns to Méribel, a true jewel of the French Alps. Over the years, this venue has earned a reputation for perfectly blending bike?park accessibility with natural alpine trails, offering riders a mix of flowy singletrack, technical descents, and stunning mountain scenery.

With five editions under its belt, Méribel has proven itself as a crowd-favourite for both seasoned enduro riders and ambitious newcomers. The combination of expertly maintained trails, lift assistance, and the vibrant alpine atmosphere makes every stage a thrilling adventure. Returning in 2026 all the way down to the valley in Brides les Bains, we’re excited to celebrate its legacy with another unforgettable weekend of racing, camaraderie, and alpine fun.

Enduro2

ONE TIME, ONE NUMBER, TWO RIDERS

The rules are simple: one race number and one timing chip per team, with the obligation to start and finish each stage together, as a DUO!

So choose your team-mate carefully, and make sure he/she is riding at a similar pace (or one of you is happy to adjust your speed to match your team-mate) so you can enjoy the whole race together, wheel-on-wheel, to the very end of each epic stage!

Of course, you can help each other out: a common strategy adopted by teams is either to place the fastest team-mate second so that he can encourage his friend to go faster, or in front to show him the best lines to take!

In short, it’s not just more fun, it’s also the ideal way for buddies and partners to make progress in both confidence and pace.

Enduro2

WHO IS IT FOR?

All thrill-seekers, equipped with a solid enduro rig (or ebike) and a technical and physical level that’s good enough to take on some pretty long and challenging descents!

The Enduro2 podium is always hotly contested, but the focus is never about the Pro riders. In fact, many Enduro2 ‘racers’ have never even raced before in a normal Enduro race. The format is relaxed – you start each timed stage when you want, and only when you are ready. And we have no problem if you need to get off and walk a tricky section – you won’t be the only one, that’s for sure!

More than 20 nationalities are represented at the start line, with lots of British, German, Belgian, Swiss, Czech, Spanish and French participants, but we welcome riders of all languages and nationalities.

We get the concept, what about the programme?

The event is spread over 4 days, with 3 big days of racing

Friday is reserved for welcoming participants and collecting race numbers, followed in the evening by festive and sporting entertainment, before the pre-race briefing.

The real race then takes place from Saturday to Monday. During which the participants will battle it out over some fifteen timed special stages, for a total on-stage time varying between 2 hours for the first and up to 4 hours for the last! The Monday course finishes early, in time to get the party started – or for those short on time, to return home just in time to return to the real world and be back at your office desk on Tuesday morning.

3 HUGE DAYS OF RACING

An Enduro2 can’t be organised just anywhere. Organizers have to find an area offering enough interesting tracks for three days of riding, and of course, it’s out of the question to use the same track twice, even for reconnaissance: here everything is about “blind-racing”!

The organisers work hard to find the best single-track available in the host resort, favouring small natural tracks over large artificial ones, but of course, they reserve the right to throw in a few of the Bike Park’s best creations as well! And while most of the trails are accessible via the ski-lifts, a little extra effort may be required on the pedals to find those backcountry gems.

On the programme for each venue: around fifteen stages, for a total descent of around 12,000m (-3000 to -5000m per day). In contrast, uphill effort is typically limited to only 200m to 800m per day. That’s a damned good pedal-to-party ratio, if you ask us!

How to choose: VERBIER vs MERIBEL vs ALETSCH?

If you prefer more technical, challenging, exposed Alpine singletrack with a raw, natural feel, Verbier might be better for you. If you want a wider range of trail options with more flowy singletrack and easier access to different types of terrain, Méribel and Alestch could be the better choice. It ultimately depends on your riding style and skill level! If you like amazing riding adventures, join the whole series!

Enduor2

THE ONLY TIME THAT COUNTS, IS HAVING A GOOD TIME

Of course, Enduro2 is much more than just a race, even if the trails and locations we chose are always the crème-de-la-crème of big-mountain riding.

It’s a state of mind, an uplifting social experience and, it’s fair to say, a real party both on and off the trails!

The format is friendly and welcoming from the outset: even the stages and times are shared between friends, but everything is also an excuse to meet up, catch up, exchange ideas and share some good vibes together!

We always choose our Rider Registration (& Race HQ) based at the best bar in town, and that sets up the mood for the whole weekend! Then there’s the organisation, which takes great care of its participants, with well-stocked feed stations, quality lunches, free beers and above all, a huge post-race party.

As you can see, while the rankings are decided in the mountains, the overall experience combines the pleasure of riding the best trails in the area with the atmosphere of a festival!

See you next year?
