Cloud Cover Winter Series Round 3 Report

After the success of round 1 it was back to Avill Hill for round 3 of the Cloud Cover Winter Series down in the Westcountry! The course was definitely a trick one but awesome at the same time, with the bottom section undoubtedly the hardest part and wouldn't have looked out of place in any race, let alone a regional local series. One section saw lots of crashes and provided lots of entertainment with pretty much 1 in 2 riders falling to the slippery roots. Al Evans took fastest time of the day and the win with a 1:32, second place was taken by Ben Baker with a 1:32 and track builder Ash Mullane came down the course with a 1:38 after crashing and took third place. Congratulations to everyone involved, Avill Hill is definitely a venue which people should be going to race, the potential is amazing! Round 4 moves on to Bird's Hill near Combe Sydenham and team Fearingout.co.uk will be making the trip once again.
