Ever fancied trying your hand at Downhill racing but keep letting those fears get in the way? Now's your chance to get involved with the UK's first all girls competition. Whether you're perfecting your line selection or giving racing a go for the first time, Diva Descent offers you the chance to race in an an exciting all-girl event! Details Date: 7th - 8th May 2011 Location: Kinnoull Hill, Perth, Scotland Entry Free: £40 About The idea for Diva Descent came following the success of other all-girl events in the UK, particularly the mighty Air Maiden. In an all-girl environment progression is immense and when girls feel comfortable to push themselves, big things can happen. The idea of Diva Descent is to encourage the ever growing number of girl riders to give racing a go and give them the opportunity to take their skills to the track and compete under authentic race conditions As the number of girl mountain bikers continues to grow so too do their skills and passion for the sport. It is important that these girls also develop the confidence and skills to successfully compete in Downhill events.
