yeah new lids, i`ve broken my last 2 xc lids on the first rides, thats why i use a dj type lid, chicken wings arm pads are nice and light and veggie knee or evo/patriot but there are others too, the foamy type ones are the most comfy

Keep an eye on it mate, might be worth getting checked out if the head ache keeps up. Heads can hide some awful stuff.

Ok, mint! I have to be at a night time wedding doo that day so it'd be good to do the ride fairly early in the day. Would that be ok? Tell me more about memory map. Have you paid for that? Do you know of any other MBR trails near us?

What is that map thing? To do with google is it? Looks very useful. Looks like the route has a couple of killer climbs. Seems to be mostly moorland with a little bit of a wooded area. Probably best to avoid on a windy day. I imagine it's quite exposed. I'm up for it if you are?

Blanchland Moor eh? I don't know it. I have an OS map of the Consett area which I've been dying to make use of. I wonder if it'd be of use. I tried working out my own routes using the map but then I realised public footpaths aren't really for bikes due to all the fences and gates you come across. Also you have no right of way if you're not on foot. What do you know about the route? much climbing? Is it a loop? What kind of ground? Tell me more my dear boy.
