yes. We will need to repair them once more and if they do fail again we will persue a replacement from Marzocchi. I just know they will break again, its tempting to put them back on and break them but i think im going to get them to fix them and just them put them straight onto ebay when i get them back.

just sent them this: I know several people with same 2008 66RCV forks with the exact same problem as me. They have sent the forks back over 2 times to be fixed by yourselves and it seems that after 1-2 months the sound just keeps returning. I have heard of people getting their forks replaced with 2009/2010 ones because of this problem continuing to occur. So I am wondering if it's possible my forks could be replaced with some 2009/2010 ones? I didn't mind sending them to be fixed again but they shouldn't have the exact same problem about a few months down the line! Can you offer me any assurance that if the forks are repaired again that the problem will not just return again in a few months time as this is what has been happening to me and my friends?

2008 totem coil £425 on CRC is what i got and i aint ridden them yet but they look even better than the 66 (which look good but sound and feel like sh*t as we both know). superwol loves his totems and i know from chatting to him on here that he rides his bike pretty hard, so the totem should be good enough for me! i really hope windwave sort me out with some new ones though. they should get a good price on ebay.

yeah just hassle windwave loads. i have heard of marzocchi giving out brand new forks for replacements for faulty ones. as sson as it creaks just keep sending them back. its a pain and it might take a few trips to the post office but they MAY get tired of it and replace them!

yeah the 2010 totems look good but cost way too much! its a real pain blowing loads of money buying a bike and then having to change the forks! the 66 are utter rubbish and it costs loads for good ones. we are both in exactly the same boat lol. both of us want white, 1.5" 180mm forks to replace crap white 1.5" marzocchi 66's that should have worked in the first place. ive ordered myself some 2008 totems anyway. they will be here on wednesday. you could try and pester marzocchi as well, just keep complaining and they may just replace the forks for new 2009/2010 ones. i have heard of them doing it. it just depends how many times you want to send your forks back and keep using them until it starts creaking again.

i would give the 888RCV a miss, they sound too much like 66RCV, which is what we are both getting rid of! ive had a good look at 1.5" forks on CRC and i went for totems, although they have some £225 RS domian 180mm in white that i considered. i didnt want to get more marzocchi and have any more problems so i went for the totems. the 66RCV the same as ours that i saw on on eBay sold for £180 yesterday, which would leave £40 needed to get the new domains from crc, or £220 for some totems.

its coming back for you too then lol. these forks are utter crap. im watching a set of 2008 66RCV on ebay now. they are currently at £150. im thinking £150 minimum to £250 maximum selling price. im just going to sell mine on eBay, starting bidding at £150 probably. ive already ordered my totems! £425 on CRC in white, they are due wednesday, they will on by thursday. i had to order another starnut lol.

cool, i think they will come back silent (please let me know) but mine are definatly starting to creak again. it sucks. i am starting to hate these forks. another month and they will have to go back again. i am going to kick up a MASSIVE fuss with marzocchi and windwave when they get real bad again. im not very happy at all....... as soon as i can afford it these forks are being replaced.
