And What seatpost do you suggest? i wouldnt of thought there'd of been a massive difference in seatposts? I'm gunna go for the Minion 2.5's i think. I was thinking 2.7's though? What dya think?

Yeah, I'm sure the Mega will be brilliant! I'm really looking forward to it. Do you and the Mr go on 26th? If you wanted to travel down the day before and stay over then you'd be very welcome. Just getting packed up for Fort Bill now. We're walking Ben Nevis whilst we're up there too :-) Exciting news....I've got a new bike! A Cube Ltd Pro. It feels quite different to my Giant so I need to get used to it. It's mainly just loads lighter. Speak soon :-)

Well you should definately do that race. Supposedly weighted more in favour of the all round rider rather than those with the smoothest legs and the biggest thighs! I got whipped by plenty of people who couldn't keep up with me on a ride of my choice. Time for some pay back!

Oh that's pants! Hope it's all fixed now though. Have you just got the Marin? Or did you have something else to ride in the sunshine whilst it was at the bike hospital? Yes, we were at Thetford Forest over the weekend in the sunshine. It's pretty flat there so it's quite fast. I was getting rather confident...which is always a bit dangerous! I'm loving the warm light evenings too...I can't wait to get home from work so I can go out for spin. Not long until France now! I'm getting dead excited. It was brilliant last year. Although Steve and I have got Fort William to look forward to the weekend after next!! Are you going? H :-)

you sound like you might feel a little inferior?! Surely not?! I think all the money in the world to spend on kit won't make anyone a better/faster rider.

Spoke to the organiser who gave us some details of what to expect on the DH track. Basically said he'd make it so anyone can ride it, with routes around the technical stuff. Mainly smooth and flowing like S13. What do you think of that?

very true. Doing a different event in September. XC race on day one followed by DH race on day two. Same bike for both is the rules. Hamsterley Forest. See how that one goes.

Fun writing when you have a good story to tell innit. Na, never bothered with Ae. Only been once before so don't know it very well. Good to know there are events like that though. I might see what they're doing next year.

no worries mate, been trying to get over and help out, but the last 3 dates i've either been working or unableto get out. I get the updates from facebook about the dig days and will hopefully get along to at least one someday, would be class to help dig a proper trail, rather than just hhe one down the local woods.

You'll have to wait and see mate. Carl and Dave are the brains behind site developement. They may well already have something planned. Try starting a topic in the feedback section of the forum. Put any ideas in there and see what comes back.
