Summary:
Technical climbs and singletrack with potential!
Review:
The route has some nice flowy sections linked up by fire roads. Although it boasts that it's almost all singletrack, at a guess I'd say at least 4km of the 13 km route is fire road.
It seems that the route is quite new to Bedgebury and what's been done so far is really good, the trails are well maintained and most sections have good draining stone tracks. I went after a nice dry spell so didn't encounter any mud but there were some sections that were deeply rutted and looked like they get almost impossible to ride in the winter.
There are plenty of technical climbs and descents, I particularly enjoyed a the tight switchback climb in the dense pine. The singletrack has the potential to be a lot more flowy when the stones bed in better, and maybe the addition of some berms would also help.
The visitor centre is brand new and alsmost warrants the £6 parking fee as it is geared up for mountainbikers and all the staff are very helpful.
Maybe once Bedgebury gets a few more trails then it could be really good.

Excellent start, but will improve with age.
Review:
Endless possibilities at bedgebury forest, the place has everything from fast tight single track to riding high on north shore style ladders, all in all this place is poss the best in the south east and will deff get better each time you go as the trails are type 1 stone trails that are bedding in nicely and after this winter they will prob be even faster and smoother to ride without the sketchy feel of gravel. £5 to park so take some change but well worth it as it has a cafe and all facilities!
