Well worth a visit!

Review:
travelled up from Portsmouth to ride at Coed y Brenin, had a wicked days riding and did both this and the MBR trail there... absolutely stunning scenery coupled with single track sections that you can tell were man made due to how well they flow and the speed they allow you to carry through them... One minor off in the group all day and loads and loads of smiles!! There are a few climbs that were killers and seemed to go on forever... each bend you hoped it was the end of it but noooo, onwards and upwards it continued! Luckily all the climbs are fire roads so easy going, just steep and drain energy and enthusiasm rapidly.. it soon returns once you hit the next singletrack section and it's suddenly forgotten about as the adrenaline flows once more!

Faultless!!

Challenging from the off and with some serious climbs especially from the cafe onwards ( i recomend you stop there to rest and prepare yourself for one hell of a hill!) but is more than worth it for the decent. Im gonna blitz the thin-stuff (prvate joke)

not to be under estimated.

Review:
I decided to travel to this trail after a mbr review and wasn't disappointed. The set up down there is excellent and all route clearly marked. I tried the dragons back red route, its probabily about 70% up hill but the down hills are technical and make it all worth while.

Cracking day out

Review:
Combining the best of old skool, so called 'proper' XC with some of the best man-made sections you'll come accross in Britain, the Karrimor is a top trail for a day trip. It's as varied as the description promises, and really does give you a taste of everything mountain biking has to offer. There are long painful ascents onto the tops of the hills and some great technical singletrack.

I managed to damage my rear hub on one outing (BIG rocks + hardtail + too fast = problems) so I had to take it easy for a long way before making it home... Beware. Carry cake.

It's a bit like befriending the school bully. Respect it and it'll treat you well - diss it and it'll pummell you and your bike into the ground.
