Summary:
fast and fun!

Review:
Been riding the trail described by bloodysmith a few times now, what a great spot this is. Fast, flowing and big in places. No time to rest on this piece of custom built trail, got everything you need for a ride that gets better every time you hit it.

Check out the pub too when you've finished, decent place to relax after the ride.

More flow than a tsunami!

Review:
Now don't get me wrong I agree that most of the Clent hill is just a moderate lycra clad cross country and dog walking haven...with maybe a few little fun single track runs....BUT!! a small and very hidden gap in the trees (somewhere) up there leads to some very fun terrain (if you can find it). I't not the longest run but it's got way more on it than most... It's flowing, technical and really addictive if you know how to ride it. The SS (Si Smith's Secret Stash) trail isnt really a black run by our measure but compared to most so called black runs out there it's a double diamond in more ways than one!! keep looking it's worth it.

Summary:
new and improved freeride/d/h trail & dirt jumps

Review:
i've spent the best part of winter doing up the d/h trail it's loads faster bigger berms, drops and gaps plus a dirt jump area and a big drop on it's own in the trees if you can find them, enjoy them. respect if you can do the kinky bastard section after the 3rd berm and take the big drop at the bottom, watch out for some tech sections and stay left if you want the chicken runs but beware the path crossings and hikers they seem to wonder up paths with obstacles along them??? one asked me if it was for horses?
starts at the bench at the top on a triangular grassy knoll, point your bike down between the trees follow this single track over the first path crossing then hang on, ends after you jump the stream at the bottom,
then a pint at the vine..

Lots of Fun!

Review:
First time I have ridden here today, there are some excellent down hill sections, some lung bursting climbs and plenty of hidden single track trails os others have mentioned. There are better places ,but its close to home!

Decent decent

From the stones at the top of Clent look for the little gap behind it. I cut a nice technical bit into the hill with some log jumps and 2 nice mini berms.
