unless i was looking in totally the wrong place or this was a waste of a 30 mile journey and a day off work, should have stuck with the 8 mile drive to rivington!! i only found 1 small stretch of a reasonable track with a couple of jumps, if i lived neerer i'd use it for an hours get away at night !

Summary:
Good shortish downhill runs for all abilities.

Review:
The main track can be divided into 3 sections. Top is open middle is narrow forrest and bottom is a choice of lines.
The top section starts with a grass section then gives you a choice of a gap/step down(about 15 foot) or a bomb hole with step up, then another bomb hole to a jump in to a berm. Next is a short single track then a small rock garden into the midd forrest section.
This section has some sharp twists through the trees then a straight section over some more rocks then a left hander dropping down into a fast right hander and over a small jump and your out in the open for a second or 3 then into the bottom section.
Again you have choices here, you can go straight down the middle and hit the big gapper jump then a double into a left hand berm, then a right hand berm, then bottom jump , then left hand berm then finish. Alternate route zig zags the main route avoising the big jump and making a slightly longer ride.
There is also a set of 3 doubles in the bottom section which you can ride as part of the run(if you can spot the entry in time)
There are other runs in the adjacent forest but they aren`t used as much, and there is also the old mx track5 mins away on the adjacent hill.
When its wet the track is very slippy & pretty un ridable.
The great thing with this track is it`s about a 10 min push from bottom to topand you don`t have to push up the track so you "shouldn`t "need to brake to avoid people pushing up.
