Summary:
Absolute blast to ride and hone your skills as a freerider.

Review:
The Freeride area is a great place to practice your freeride skills for both the beginner and the more seasoned riders. You will see people of all ages and all abilities using the course on all types of bikes. It is well laid out which means that the winding downward track is both challenging and fun with a short push or slog back to the top for another go and believe me you will want another go.

The top half of the course has skinnies drops and table top ramps snaking down the course to the wall ride, fun box and more tables at the bottom. The course will suit dirt jumpers as the tables are a nice size to trick off and and there is a nice drop off in he middle of the course with three height stages onto a steep bank. The 9 foot fun box can be riden on and off or if you have the skills for it tricked or hucked, just be careful the groud comes up awfully fast if you hold a trick too long.

You can drive up to the freeride area and its a great place to warm up before you hit the trails and you can play somemore on your return. It has a picknick area so the wife was quite happy to sit in the sun (a rare day in scotland) while i played for a couple of hours.

I will be back next year when the weather warms up a bit. If you see someone lying on the ground next to a cream kona with triple clamps please dont run me over just sa hi.

This is situated near the buzzards nest carpark, so you pass it on the road up the red and black trails. its great to spin of the rail for ten or twenty minutes to proactice and have some fun. Its well laid out and there is plenty to play on!!
