Summary:
More than just a Green/Blue

Review:
Agree with the previous review - at other centres these trails would be graded 'one higher' (I guess they're not as you COULD ride the descents here slow and safe on a poorer bike and still have fun).

Lots of climbing (Brechfa published trail profiles show 800m of ups overall on the Green + Blue combined if I count right) but the descents are swoopy and and as fast as you dare (and even share some downhill trail with the Black route if you do the Blue loop).

Great trail if you or your bike aren't quite up to the technical challenge of a 'full' red route, but still huge fun if you and your rig are strong enough to hit it hard and fast.

Quality! A must ride destination!

Review:
The single track descents of this trail have been thought out very well indeed. If your at an intermediate level its all ride able and enjoyable but the better your skill level the more you will enjoy it and ride the trail to the full. Massive berms, switch backs, step ups and table tops combined with a smooth flowing corners make this place one of the best out there. The downhill sections when the get going properly aren’t fragmented into climbs and downhill sections, it tends to be one good blast down to the bottom followed by a climb to the next quality descent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vy2B4XNkF4g

Summary:
top trail - BUT NOT IN THE WET!

Review:
I have to add to my first post, this is a great trail, but in the wet it just doesnt work as well. I had a full set of Maxxis High Rollers and these didnt seem to grip at all. We ended up taken 2 of our party to A&E for deep cuts and I had 3 offs, when usually I am a more than competent rider!
Still, i loved every second!!!

Summary:
Brilliant even in the freezing snow

Review:
One of the best trails I've ridden. By chance my wife and I hired nearby cottage for Xmas with our parents. As I brought my bike (it is Wales after all) I decided to try this route out. I rode it on Boxing Day 2009 in freezing conditions. Despite the ice I thought it was fantastic. Lots of uphill slogs (esp on snow) but they are less painful than they might be as they are mainly fire roads. The uphill pain is followed by some great winding single track though the forest (less icy) and swooping rollercoasting downhill sections with nice doubles, tables and berms. Not a single problem with sign posting at all - it's actually very clear. I'll certainly be going back to try it out in summer 2010!
