Fast, fun and flowy

This is a truly fantastic bit of trail building! It manages to make the absolute most out of a relatively small area of forest with some nice climbs, and fantastic descents! The level of technicality is down to the rider as well which is nice, and it feels good on hardtails and rigids as well as full sussers. If you want to go on a two lap power training ride, its not too technical on the descents, but the climbs are easy to loop and do again and again! If you want a chilled fun loop, thats ok too, the descent sections take little effort to nip back up the nearest fireroad and do again. Its all rideable saddle up, but if you want, you can saddle down and there are plenty of jumps and berms to get loose on! Awesome to see a trail thats so adaptable to the mood of your ride, often you are stuck in the rhythm that the trailbuilder set, but not here!

Possibly the Best weekends riding I've ever had. Probably. Camped at some crap site though. Woke up late night loud neighbours at 6am with gas air horn next to tent & returned to trails lol. Tracks are very short but there's a lot of them. Was not on uplift but l actually lost count of my runs! Easy push up. Nailed every jump I saw all weekend. Like this place!

Review:
The uplift is run very well with friendly service.Went on the May 7th and it hammered down just before the uplift started at 10 till about 12 , it was very sketchy but wicked fun , in the dry it would get 10 . Sheepskull was closed but did the other runs with corkscrew into ski run coming out tops for most riders . Guy's on full DH rig's reckon they were over biked , 140mm-180mm bikes seemed about right. All in all fast and flowy with some gnar thrown in.

the downhill at forest of dean is great! with countless trails swooping steeply through the woods as well as 4 marked built trails! Its good for all levels of downhill and freeride. plus new tracks are being built constantly with a great cafe!
