Summary:
Top trail, nice climbs

Review:
Liked this, I hate single track climbs, I just want them to be easy, so the fact that most of the climbs on this one were on fire roads went down well.

Lovely fast descents down the side of the valley, very good fun. I did the White's level trail at the same centre the next day, this was better in my opinion, however I did do it at 8'ok clock at night, so literally had the run of the forest.

Good trail ut prepare to be knackered

Review:
Rode this for the first time today, really good trail, as one of the other reviews says there are a lot of fire roads but not too much in my opinion, give you a chance to recover between the single track which can be pretty full on, the final single track back to the car park is long and fast, I smashed round this in 3 1/2 hours but was pretty ball bagged after it!

I lovely ride, even the 6km first clikb is brilliant fun, a few too many fire roads, but the singletrack compensated greatly..the final descent is a RIPPER!! brilliant fum, slightly bruised knuckles though from over inflated tyres.. a bit painfull on the last descending sections..

Good trail, excellent for beginners

Review:
The other half want to try her 1st trail and from what I read penydd is generally regarded as the easiest of the afan trails. Unfortunatly we chose probably the worst weekend to go due to the weather making it seem alot harder than it was.

Climbs are reletively easy, not Tecnical as 95% are fire roads. Sidewinder for me as the best section along with the hidden valley.

Will definately head back but only when the weather is better as I think this more than other trails is seriously effect by it.

amazing

Review:
Got round in 3 1/2 hours first time but took longer second time (not the same day) to enjoy the views. Was totally knackered both times but well worth it. Final decent amazing but had to take a break to give fingers a rest. I would recommend to everyone with a decent level of fitness but take some food and alot of water
