Chicksands Bike Park is a purpose-built mountain biking destination situated in the Forest of Rowney Warren, in Bedfordshire. With over 30 all-weather trails to be explored, the bike park offers a wide range of trails and features designed to challenge, inspire, and develop riders of all levels.

Chicksands Trail Guide

4X Track - Graded Blue

The National Standard 4X Course is designed for riders who enjoy competitive descents. Features include doubles, tabletops, speed humps, reliable bermed corners, a triple jump, and a step up/down section. All obstacles are rollable, accommodating various skill levels and speeds. Compatible with mountain bikes and BMX.

Dual Slalom Track - Graded Blue

The old faithful Dual Slalom Course is our recommended starting point for all riders. This beginner-friendly track helps newcomers develop off-road handling skills while still challenging experts seeking speed

Dirt Jumps

The bike park features a designated Dirt Jump Area with difficulty ratings ranging from blue to black, allowing riders to safely develop and advance their skills.

Pump Tracks

The bike park features four pump tracks with difficulty ratings ranging from green to blue. These tracks provide excellent opportunities for skill development and technique refinement, accommodating riders from novices to seasoned experts.

Downhill Tracks

Chicksands features multiple downhill tracks of varying difficulty levels, each compact yet filled with numerous technical features. No big pushes to the top! Short and sweet and plenty to session.

Visitor Information

Memberships or a Day Pass is required to ride at Chicksands Bike Park. A Day Pass is perfect for casual visits, group rides, or riders wanting maximum trail time without commitment. Just turn up, sign in, and ride.
