Lee Quarry Mountain Bike Trails

Description

Over 8km of technical mountain bike trails have been completed in Lee Quarry, Bacup. In line with the philosophy of the Pennine Lancashire Adrenaline Gateway, the trails have been designed to help riders develop their skills and learn new ones. Hyndburn business Terra Firma constructed the first trails, which were designed by Daffyd Davis to deliver cutting edge routes.

There are 5km of Red trails with technical sections that riders can opt into as they develop their riding. There are also over 2km of challenging Black Trails and a skills development area with easier trails and technical challenges. A second phase of trail design and build is underway, led by Rowan Sorell. The site includes a top standard Trials area which can host competitions and demonstration events.

Use of the trails is free and they are always open. All we ask is that you respect other users, whether they're on Mountain Bikes or not!
