Makara Peak Mountain Bike Park

Makara Peak Mountain Bike Park is home to a awesome network of trails around Makara Peak near Karori just outside Wellington.

The development of Makara Peak is ongoing, with hundreds of volunteers building tracks and helping to restore the forest every year.

To ensure the park reaches it's full potential, the Makara Peak Mountain Bike Park Supporters has been established with a mission to create a world class mountain bike park, with dual use tracks for all levels of rider, in a restored native forest.
