Whinlatter's Quercus Trail: Essential Summer Upgrades Complete
The popular Quercus Mountain Bike Trail at Whinlatter Forest has reopened following significant improvements and resurfacing work.
Cyclewise, the on-site bicycle retailer at Whinlatter, reports that comprehensive upgrades focused primarily on the trail's second section, resulting in enhanced flow and improved riding conditions. The South side of the trail now features regraded berms and some new views, made possible by recent timber harvesting operations.
The renovation project, completed just in time for peak summer riding season, has garnered enthusiastic responses from the mountain biking community.
