Switch-Backs Mountain Bike Holidays - Spain

Switch-Backs in Spain is a long established mountain bike holiday service that offers XC, Freeride and Downhill adventures in an area of Europe rich with diversity, good weather and most importantly, awesome mountain biking! Downhill Holidays at SB (switch-backs) take in the now reputed tracks and trails around the Malaga area which have been made famous through SRAM testing camps, features in Dirt and MBUK, and several film releases. In a typical days riding we will session up to 4 or 5 of our endless armoury of different tracks, with 0% uphill thanks to the aid of 'Lucky' our shuttle driver... For 2009 our Spring time offer looks like this: All the above for a mere 465euros. Cross Country / Freeride Holidays at SB are based in the picturesque village of Bubion, high in the mountains (1300metres in fact.) above Granada. The area has been quoted by many a magazine as having some of the best single track riding in the world – the variety and quantity of trails has to be seen to be believed. All 100% natural of course! These are generally week long breaks but long weekends, day rides and longer stays are also available. A week long XC stay at SB provides you: This week long stay will barely tickle the bank balance at 525euros with an additional 10% discount for a group of 5 or more. 'Fine, but what if I want to go skiing this year?' – No problem, Sierra Nevada Ski Station is easily accessed and is having a stonking season for snow. Visits are possible on your day off with a small transfer fee and all ski equipment is available to hire in the resort. On top of that the beautiful and historical city of Granada is easily reached by bus direct from Bubion so why not tie in a visit to the incredible Alhambra? All enquiries welcome.
