SLTS and Castle Black trails reopen at Glentress!
After a long and wet winter, we’re happy to announce that the final sections of Smells Like Tweed Spirit (Red) and Castle Black (Black) at Glentress Forest are back open!
Both Smells Like Tweed Spirit and Castle Black have had a full refresh, think fresh berms, new rollers, and jumps that’ll have you boosting higher than ever.
The final section of Smells Like Tweed Spirit (SLTS) has been rebuilt top to bottom with new jumps, berms and rollers on a more durable surface. The closing jump now carries a larger lip on the left-hand side of the upramp, and riders are advised to take it steady on first runs to get used to the new features.
Castle Black’s lower entry has a fresh new look, and the jumps and berms have had a full tune-up for smoother, faster runs.
Bikescape led the recent trail upgrades. Both Smells Like Tweed Spirit and Castle Black are integral to the Glentress Masterplan, linking the main red and black trails for a seamless flow finish.
