Trail enhancements planned for GBU and Launchpad in The Forest of Dean
Work has begun on resurfacing and enhancing the popular GBU and Launchpad mountain bike trails at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre.
Launchpad continues to be one of the most popular trails, and several sections have become worn and eroded. This maintenance will help ensure Launchpad remains smooth, safe, and fully accessible, particularly for riders using adaptive bikes, for whom this trail is a key route.
GBU is also another popular downhill trail with riders. A general refresh is planned, including filling holes around the jumps and reshaping some of the features that have become worn through use and weathering.
