Proposed 2.3km Mountain Bike Trail Extension at Lochore Meadows Country Park
Plans are advancing for a 2.3km expansion to the existing mountain bike trail network at Lochore Meadows Country Park.
A certificate of lawfulness application has been filed with Fife Council to develop additional trails at this popular Central Fife recreational area. The new trails will complement the current network within the park. Additionally, the project includes plans for expanding the ancient woodland area of Harran Hill.
The land targeted for development is owned by Fife Council but is currently under lease to a local farmer. If approved, this development would significantly enhance recreational opportunities for mountain biking enthusiasts at this beloved natural destination.
