FlyUp 417 Bike Park Revised Re-Opening Date
Great news, the team at FlyUp 417 Bike Park is working tirelessly to welcome you back to the trails very soon.
STATEMENT FROM FLYUP MTB
We apologise for the delayed update regarding the reopening of the FlyUp 417 Bike Park, this has been an incredibly slow and frustrating process for us. The support we have received from the MTB community, especially following Simon’s cancer diagnosis, has been nothing short of incredible and we thank you for your patience.
For the 417 Bike Park to re-open and to welcome you all back safely, there is still work for National Highways to complete. They have a duty to put us back in the operational position that we were in prior to their work commencing, and we have flagged several issues that certainly need rectifying before we can operate.
To allow time for these issues to be fixed, the closure period will be extended. The FlyUp 417 Bike Park will be open to the public on May 3rd 2025.
We know this will be sad and frustrating news for many, however, your safety is paramount. The site must be accessible, the uplift needs to run, and the push-up path must be rebuilt before we can open our doors.
For those that made a booking for April, we have been in touch to begin reorganising for you. For those with FlyUp vouchers/gift cards, these will once again be extended.
Thank you, again, for your continued support during this challenging time for our team and our family.
Angela & Simon Ruskin, and the FlyUp Team.
