THE MERIDA EX 2020 - pre-registration now open
After a fantastic event earlier this year, we are super excited to go back to Exmoor on the 11-13th of September 2020 for another helping of 'Exmoor enduro fantasticness'.
The event will follow the same principles as the last four years, with a few new and excited 'EXtravaganzas' being thrown into the mix.
THE MERIDA EX 2020:
Just 80 riders will challenge themselves to three unforgettable days of mountain biking. Over the three days, we will have more than 20 times special stages, that will vary from beautifully flowy natural single-track, via white knuckle hold-on-and-grin moorland hammering to tight and technical push-yourself steep stuff. The three days are demanding from a physical point of view, but trust us, you will be paid back in spades when it comes to the stages, views and transitions. To make life a little easier, the riders will be given one uplift at the start of each day, and they will be kept fed and watered throughout the days. And above all, they will have the chance to experience and devour the (enduro) world-famous vintage tea stops! To keep things interesting for the very loyal regulars at THE EX, we have a bunch of new trails in the event, and we will also add some night time enduro racing to the menu.
But as always, the riding and racing are just a small part of THE MERIDA EX. The entire event has been handcrafted to create a unique, one-of-a-kind, can't-wait-to-do-it-again adventure. Everything from the organic and locally sourced food and drink, to the bustling event village with its packed expo and demos, to the evening celebrations, will create an experience that's way more than just a race. THE MERIDA EX is an all-inclusive event, where the entry fee covers an uplift at the start of each day, more than 20 timed stages, all foods, all drinks, full marked course, camping, facilities, evening entertainment, event gift and more…

Over the last four years the 80 places have sold out super quickly (3 mins in 2019) and it is essential to pre-register to have a chance of getting in. The entry for riders that have pre-register opens on Sunday the 1st of March 2020 at 9 am (UK time). To pre-register, please go to the event website www.the-ex.co.uk and click on the 'pre-register' button, or go straight to the pre-registration page. And if you can't be anywhere near an internet connection, worry not, simply ask a friend or family member to enter for you and then let us know the details we should change it to later on. Simple!
