World Premiere of F1RST – This Friday
In just a little over 48 hours from now, the new and highly anticipated movie from Clay Porter, the docu-style feature on the 2007 Downhill race season "F1RST", will make its world premiere at the Golden State Theatre in Monterey. (417 Alvarado Street). Since the release of the trailer and the innovative print ads, interest in the movie has increased dramatically and resulted in a further 8 Regional Premieres around the world already confirmed and several more on the way. The World Premiere is a ticketed event with limited seating. Tickets will be available this Friday during the day at the Fox Racing Shox booth at the Sea Otter Classic as well as from the Golden State Theatre as of tomorrow. Tickets are $10, and admittance is strictly by ticket only. About F1RST: F1RST is the highly anticipated follow up to the 2007 runaway success "Between The Tape", and like BTT is a documentary about the sport of downhill mountain bike racing and specifically the 2007 World Cup Series. FIRST was shot in stunning locations all over the world including South Africa, Australia, and from the USA to Eastern Europe and the UK. The feature length movie highlights the world's greatest downhill racers both on and off the course, praising their race abilities and nudging them into candid interviews about their lives and their first experiences with the sport.
