Abi wins first round of XC national series

Charge team rider Abi Greenaway took the win this weekend at the first round of the 2008 National Points Mountain Bike Cross Country Series in Thetford. Abi's been training hard recently and was really looking for the win which she achieved in style. Not only this but after having won her race on Saturday, she then proceeded to take second place in the 75km enduro on the Sunday in her first ever 75km race just 40 seconds behind the winner, huge effort. Well done Abi! The next round is on the 10th of May in Drumlanrig, Scotland. You can read Abi's race report including the trials and tribulations of sleep depravation the night before the first big race of the season on her blog on the team pages of the Charge bikes website www.chargebikes.com The Charge Bikes Team is proudly sponsored by: WESC clothing, Oakley, Rockshox, X-Lite, Crank Brothers, Troy Lee Designs, SRAM, Muc-Off, Avid, Truvativ, Met, Circa Shoes, Hotwheels, Dirt Worker, Smart, Tacx and Fuse.
