Lopes nominated for MTB Hall Of Fame
The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame was started in 1988 with the mission to preserve the history of the sport. A physical museum can be found in Crested Butte, Colorado and each year between three to seven individuals or groups are inducted. Nominees are divided into 6 categories; advocacy, industry, journalism, pioneers, promotion and racing history. Brian Lopes was nominated for "racing history". If inducted he will join the ranks of Hans Rey, Alison Syder, Tinker Juarez and Thomas Frischnecht.
