New black graded trail project at Glentress is go!
Work is well underway on a new black graded mountain bike decent at the iconic Glentress Trail Centre in South Scotland.
The new project is a collaboration between the MTB Rangers (from Forest Enterprise Scotland), the Glentress Trailfairies volunteer trailbuilders, TweedLove and the local riding community.
We have been told the new trail will be steep and super flowy in feel, and will be a great addition to the trail network at Glentress Forest.
The photos below show the great progress slready made with over two thirds roughed out and the first 70m dug, shaped and test ridden!
The trail crew are aiming to have the section finished by mid May in time for the Tweedlove International Enduro in June and they need your help!
If you would like to get involved, the next Glentress Trailfairies session is this Saturday, 22 April, 9am - 1pm, where they will be doing more digging and shaping.
