Bikepark Cornwall Feasibility Study is a Go!
The feasibility study for Bikepark Cornwall is a go after finding a potential site near Bodmin for the mountain bike park with the backing of the landowner.
The team recently published the following post on their Facebook page:
Following a successful Crowdfunder campaign which raised a total of £2261 & with additional funds being secured from private investors, the Bikepark Cornwall feasibility study has been commissioned & is now underway. This is really great news!
Without the belief & support of all the kind & generous people who made a contribution, we would not have been able to get the feasibility study started so a huge “Thank you“ to you all. Extra thanks to Cranked Bikes, MuckyNutz, Strong Adolfo’s, The Little Bike Shop, Inside Job Van linings & Cactus Tongue Bike racks for donating prizes for the rewards raffle.
We are expecting to see the feasibility study published by the end of January. Assuming that the output of the report is positive, it should enable us to move ahead with a site lease & planning application by next summer.
Here’s to a fun filled 2017. A year which will hopefully see work commence on the construction of Bikepark Cornwall.
Merry Christmas & Happy Riding to everyone from the Bikepark Cornwall Team!
