Shredder Double Vision

Two riders, two different styles, one edit. Scottish Shredders Max Rendall and Ryan Middleton hit up some of their favourite local trails.

I hopped on the train to Dundee a few weeks back to spend some time filming with Scottish Shredders Max Rendall and Ryan Middleton at some of their favourite local trails.

Both riders have completely different styles which made this project really interesting to film; where one rider would launch a gap the other would manual through the entire section. Ryan's style can be compared to that of a BMX rider with a combination of speed and playful tricks like nosebonks and nacs. Max is closer to an MX rider with his flat out, aggressive style and can be found getting sideways at any opportunity. Whilst both are very different, these two styles compliment each other perfectly when combined.

This is the first time I've filmed with Max and Ryan but I can guarantee it won't be the last. Not only do these guys have the energy to ride for the camera all day but their gooning abilities compare to no others. Their goofy humour definitely made for a relaxed filming environment and some hilarious footage. Thanks a lot guys for putting in a lot of work for this project!
