Madison is the latest big name signing for the Cycle Show 2008

The Cycle Show, Britain's premier cycle expo for both the trade and the general public today announced a major coup with the news that Madison will be exhibiting at the event for the very first time in the show's seven year history. The addition of Madison to the list of exhibitors brings a host of leading brands to Earls Court including Shimano, Ridgeback and Genesis bicycles. Madison has made a significant commitment to the Cycle 2008 show with the investment in two sizeable stands in order to best represent their brand offering. The first will be entirely dedicated to presenting the extensive Shimano product range and will include the very first glimpses of Shimano's 2009 new products. This will be a truly unique opportunity to see so much of the Shimano range in one place and this alone will be a major draw to the event for both the trade and the general public. The second stand will showcase the very successful Ridgeback and Genesis bikes brands, again providing a great opportunity for all to see this quality range of well designed UK specific bikes within a great setting. Andrew Brabazon, Cycle Show Event Director made the following comment on this newly signed deal: "Cycle has become the “must attend event" for both an increasing number of exhibitors, members of the trade and enthusiastic, affluent consumers. With the addition of Madison as a substantial investor in the show, we have taken another huge leap forward." Dominic Langan, CEO of Madison made the following statement: "I have watched with keen interest as the Cycle Show has developed over the years into a really successful expo and with the recent relocation to Earls Court, Madison felt it was now time for our brands to be present. We will be investing a great deal in doing all we can to drive even greater attendance to the show and working in close partnership with the organisers to ensure even greater success in the future. We are delighted to be part of the event!" With stand sales for the 2008 show already 50% higher than the same time last year, Cycle 2008 seems to have really caught the imagination of the trade. We’re looking forward to a great year and looking forward to offering our visitors something really special come October. This years Cycle Show will once again be located in London’s Earls Court 1 venue and will be open to the public from the 10th - 12th October 2008, with a trade only preview day on Thursday the 9th October.
