The riders take to Cairns’ jungle with much trepidation as rain storms brew overhead.

Cairns' tropical weather proved to be as unpredictable as billed when practice got away at the round two of the UCI DH World Cup on Thursday. Clear skies and baking heat one minute were replaced the next by the heavens opening and rain pouring down, making the riders wary on a track that takes no prisoners.
