Cwmcarn Mountain Bike Trails Are Open!

Let us bring you up to date after last weeks announcement that Cwmcarn Forest reported a 10% drop in visitors due to mountain bikers wrongly assuming all of the trails are shut.

The felling is progressing well at Cwmcarn Forest and they are working to repair and reinstate any trail damage caused by felling.

Although the Y Mynydd Downhill Mountain bike track won't be opening on a permanent basis until the end of the year, we have been told that Cwmdown Uplift Service will be to run a uplift on specified weekends this year, but these dates are yet to be confirmed.

The Twrch trail is due to reopen very soon but the new Cafall XC trail and  Pedalhounds Downhill track are open and running as normal, plenty of space on the uplift too.
