QECP Mountain Bike Trail Development Proposal

The QECP team have put together a exciting proposal to cover the ongoing development of the trails within Queen Elizabeth Country Park for the next 5 to 7 years.

QECP Trail Collective - Dig Day

After much number crunching, typing, messing about with maps and discussion we have finally completed our proposal which, we hope, will cover the ongoing development of the trails within QECP for the next 5 to 7 years. The proposal is a 30 page document that took us quite a while to put together and we hope it will shape what we and hopefully you the mountain bike community in Hampshire can achieve over the next 5 years or so. We’d also like to thank you guys for responding to our survey which has had a major part to play in how we shaped the proposal.

We have submitted the document to Hampshire County Council today. We can’t go into too much detail with regard to the content at this stage however here are the high level area’s within the proposal.

These improvements are not in any particular order and none have yet been agreed by HCC. However we will keep you informed of progress here and on social media. We would also like to add that before any of this can start we need to finish our current project, the updating of the Blue trail, so the sooner we do that the sooner we can start on potential Red and Black trails, so come help out! #getinvolved #digtovictory
