Leogang is looking forward to 2008
Mountain biking in general isn't on everybody's mind in the wintertime. The Nissan White Style presented by Kona is the ultimate reminder. On February 2nd, a lot of international pro riders will meet in Leogang for the third time to enjoy the one and only Winter-Slopestyle contest. Three months later, right at the beginning of the Bikepark season, Leogang will host the Out of Bounds Weekend, a real mountain bike festival. The snowy Bikepark Leogang will be again the venue of the Nissan White Style presented by Kona. About 25 riders will perform on an unusual slopestyle course. The whole track, like the obstacles, is made up of snow and wood, using a lot of shaping experience and passion. The riders have to show their best to manage this challenging terrain. The spectators will not only be able to watch some exclusive freeride action, but they can also enjoy the chilled after party. The whole program – qualifying, finals, price giving and party – takes place on February 2nd. Pure excitement and good vibes are guaranteed. Later in the year, on June (6th-8th), when the summer is about to start, the Out of Bounds Weekend will provide a well packed 3-day program. The fifth anniversary of the Out of Bounds Weekend provides various contest formats for everybody. But the ultimate highlight this weekend will be the 26TRIX contest. It is the biggest mountain bike dirt jump contest worldwide. The who is who of the international freeride-scene will enter this event. The 26TRIX invitational event pushes the trick-level in mountain biking higher and higher every year. In addition to that, an exhibition area and after show parties with live music acts do turn this weekend into a real mountain bike freeride festival.
