On Friday, October 12th, the night club La Reserve (www.la-reserve.fr) in St Rafael (FRA) will be the place to be for all bike enthusiasts. Mavic presents the European premiere of NWD 8 – "SMACK DOWN", the eights episode of the legendary New World Disorder movies. The show starts at 10:30PM. Early birds are welcome when the doors open at 9:30PM. Keep your eyes open for some protagonists of the new action packed movie. Guys like Boyko, Gracia, Barel will be around to follow the show togehter with you. Derek Westerlund, founder of Freeride Entertainment, celebrates the tenth company anniversary with a motion picture that equals nothing ever seen before. Be sure, the most blatant and best mountain bike Freeride action is shown on New World Disorder 8. As customary for New World Disorder productions, "SMACK DOWN" is completely filmed on 16mm and in high definition, providing incredible tracking and static shots which where taken in Argentina, Israel, British Columbia, Europe and the US. Pros who joined the tour are Darren Berrecloth, Kyle Strait, Fabien Barrel, Jeff Lenosky, Cedric Garcia, Robbie Bourdon, Wayne Goss, Wade Simmons, Ben Boyko, Lluis and Andreu Lacondeguy, to name only a few. There will be super epic shots from Fabien Barel and Cedric Garcia racing downhill like straight to hell, but also amazing pictures of 4X World Champion Brian Lopes and Richie Schley going helibiking. The first part of the movie is Andreu Lacondeguy’s and this guy really does rock, pushing Superman Backflips like there is no tomorrow. Concerning the tricks in general, a complete magazine of most different calibers is being shot like out of a machine gun. Varying from bunny hops over cars and huge gaps to flipwhips and camel hand plants. The coverage of the biggest contests in 2007 – like Crankworx, the Nissan Qashqai Challenge or the Bearclaw Invitational – will provide a huge pack of insane tricks, too. Make sure you don't miss the European premiere because the vibes at the party presented by MAVIC will be insane. Get prepared to party with some of the world’s best bike riders and the who is who of the mountain biking world.
