Dig Days Dates for Dirt Jumps at Sherwood Pines
Thanks to a crew of local volunteers an area of dirt jumps have been built in Sherwood Pines Forest. The beginner, intermediate and advanced runs allow riders to push their limits regardless of their level of skill. The area is proving really popular even though it is not officially open yet. So if you have not yet been up to see it please do so soon! Below are a few dates for some maintenance days if you are interested in helping us out. Saturday August 25th Sunday August 26th Saturday August 8th Sunday August 9th From about 10.00am 'til 1.00pm Please bring your helmet if you wanna ride. All tools, gloves and other PPE will be provided by the Forestry Commission. Please wear appropriate clothing (something that you don't mind getting dirty) and strong footwear. Please bring waterproofs - then it won't rain! Children must be accompanied by an adult. If you would like more info, please call Becky Mayo on 07747 006453 or by e-mail becky.mayo@forestry.gsi.gov.uk. www.forestry.gov.ukLatest news
