The Bontrager TwentyFour12 is Ready to Roll this weekend!
The Bontrager Twentyfour12, the UK's ultimate twenty four and twelve hour race, takes place this weekend with a packed schedule of racing and entertainment.
Taking place at the former World Cup venue Newnham Park, the event is more than just a race, with a range of entertainment including Nick the Fish playing music at 9pm on Friday night, a talk from round-the-world record holder Mike Hall on the Pivot stand on Friday evening, the premier of Not Bad, Anthill Film?s new movie, at 9pm on Saturday night and free beer for 12 hour race finishers on Saturday at midnight.
For those racing there is full support including free 24 hour massage, free 24 hour bike washing, free 24 hour mechanical support and hot showers and water. There is also the chance to hire Exposure lights, try out demo bikes from Pivot Bikes and drool over next year?s Trek and Bontrager kit. Gore Bike Wear are also offering a try before you buy on all clothing.
Bontrager Twentyfour12 organiser Martyn Salt said: ?The course is in superb condition, we have a record number of exhibitors this year, and we have had a lot of excitement already from competitors about the new timed sections, the course and the range of facilities on offer. The weather forecast is not looking bad at all and it looks like we are in for a great weekend of racing and fun!?
