UCI DH World Cup 2013: Fort William - Lapierre Gravity Republic Report
With 3 riders in the top 5 of their category the season starts well for the Lapierre Gravity Republic team.
After being injured on the (mythic) track of Fort William few days ago , Loris VERGIER was finally here. First world cup race and first top 5 for him with a good 4th place in the junior category.
In the women category it was also the first race for Lapierre Gravity Republic for Emmeline RAGOT. First french rider and nice 3rd place for her.
With a 3rd and a 7th place during the qualifications, Sam BLENKINSOP and Loic BRUNI looked ready to start the season with a top result. With a mistake on the top of the track Loic finally took a 16th place (first french rider) but proved over the whole week-end that he's ready to have good results for his first ELITE season.
On his side Sam did a good run and took an interesting 4th place. After a "serious" winter training preparation Sam looks ready to have a good 2013 season...
