Gee Hits the slopes!
Animal Giant rider Gee Atherton survived a spectacular crash in Tignes, France this past weekend. Gee was attempting a jump, as part of a photo shoot for a magazine, but, in his own words “there was nothing for me to judge my speed against” and so was going too fast on take off. Fortunately, apart from maybe his pride, Gee escaped largely unhurt. The bike was a complete wreck. The front wheel was in about six pieces. The back wheel was somewhere down the hill. He bent the bars down about 4" when he landed and the frame was bent.www.athertonracing.co.uk
