e.thirteen Components Hires Aaron Lutze as Marketing Director

e.thirteen Components is excited to announce the addition of Aaron Lutze as the new marketing director and fifth member of the e.thirteen staff. e.thirteen has never employed a full-time marketing director but is stepping up to the next level with Lutze's help Lutze has taken on many roles in the past decade within the bike industry. He started as a professional trials rider for Schwinn and Diamondback, then moved behind the lens to create the internationally acclaimed Match Videozine video series. While developing Match Videozine and matchvideozine.com, he worked tirelessly to promote the growing street and dirt mountain biking culture. Soon after, Aaron stepped into the freelance world to create print, video and marketing material for multiple companies throughout the industry. His latest projects have expanded to include event promotion, including the Wham Bam Thank You Jam slopestyle series. "I am really looking forward to working with e.thirteen," said Lutze. "I've been friends with everyone at the company for a long time and have always admired what they do. They are innovators, and all of the top riders in the world are running their products, so this is a dream job for me to step into. I'm excited about creating an even stronger marketing program for them that will hopefully be just as innovative as the product line." e.thirteen's technical director and party planner Dave Weagle is also excited about the new position: "Aaron has been a great friend of ours for years. He has been part of our family forever, now it's just official. We all share similar outlooks and ideas on life, riding, work and play, so this could not be a better match. Anyone who knows Lutze knows that he is a very talented guy and a great person, and we are really excited to have him on board." Swing on over to the e.thirteen booth at Sea Otter, where Lutze will be slinging wrenches and getting rowdy with the rest of the e.thirteen gang. Keep your eye on e.thirteen... it's going to be an interesting year. e.thirteen components is a small, rider-owned and operated company that strongly supports dozens of grassroots races, series, contests and other riding events all over the world every year.
